OUR STORY
V-PRO, a brand of of the Verbo Group, traces its origins back to the Netherlands in 1997. What commenced with handmade rolls and local sales swiftly evolved into an unexpected journey of growth and innovation. From a modest creative repurposing of waste to securing our first distributor, the Verbo Group embarked on a roadmap that would redefine standards in the floor protection industry.
As we worked our way into the Dutch market by introducing our signature product to the field, an expected demand emerged. V-PRO Protection Board promptly set a new benchmark for the floor protection industry. Our brand became synonymous with floor protection in general.
To meet the continuously changing needs of the construction, home improvement, and painting industries, we are committed to constantly improving.

-
Verbo B.V. (1997, Netherlands)
The origin of the group. From the laminated paper waste of juice cartons, Verbo pioneered the upcycling of this material into durable floor protection. What was once waste found new life in DIY, construction, and painting industries.
-
IPT B.V. (2007, Netherlands)
As Verbo grew and built stronger waste networks, demand increased for handling broader paper streams. This led to a strategic co-ownership with IPT, a family business with generations of expertise. Together, Verbo and IPT created a synergy effect that amplified upcycling results.
-
IPT Recycling B.V. (2009, Netherlands)
Plastic became an increasing challenge, often connected to beverage cartons. Verbo was asked to step in. By investing in advanced recycling machines, plastics were transformed into high-quality PE granulates. This marked Stage 2: Recycling, extending Verbo Group’s role in the circular economy.
-
PPI B.V. (2011, Netherlands)
Some waste streams were too small or narrow to fit into other processes. PPI turned these into certified food-grade products such as trays, lids, and pallet sheets, unlocking new applications for overlooked materials.
-
SIMA GmbH (2017, Germany)
With rapid growth in recycling capacity, sales markets had to expand too. The strategic acquisition of SIMA strengthened Verbo’s European position, adding recycled polyester-based floor protection and broadening expertise in material recycling.
-
V-Procover LLC (2021, USA)
To bring sustainable solutions overseas, V-Procover was founded in the United States, focusing on sales and partnerships across North America.
-
Avoid B.V. (2024, Europe)
A modern e-commerce platform for professional and consumer floor protection solutions. It extends market reach and supports the fast growth of our recycling activities.
-
Verbo’s Technology (in formation)
The next step: Stage 3 – Circular Impact. Verbo’s Technology develops advanced methods to fully separate laminated paper. This innovation will push upcycling and recycling to a higher level, laying the foundation for the next generation of circular solutions.
